We took a bus ride into the city of Bamberg and took a walking tour around the old part of the city. We walked through the streets of the old city and then up to the Bamberg Cathedral which was the main focus of our tour. We walked along the river on our way from the Opera house where the bus left us to the city center. Along the way we saw lots of old preserved homes, some half timber homes along the Rhine, Main, Danube Canal
We had some free time and we were really cold so we went to a department store to get some coats and then we sat at an outdoor cafe and had some coffee and a cheese sandwich before walking back to meet the bus at the opera house.
