With Cody and Kasey gone Conrad and I had the day to ourselves. We did our usual walk down to Evans Brothers coffee first thing in the morning and then came back to the house and pretty much relaxed. We have some things to do around the house to prep for our next stop in Glacier National Park.
We decided to have lunch at TC Stacks which was good. We both had pancakes, a treat that we very rarely have.
After lunch we took a short hike along the Sandpoint Bay Trail to test out a new camera carrier and other things in preparation for our longer hike on Wednesday in Glacier.
The trail was flat, groomed but not paved, and also pretty heavily shaded. It was about 3 miles out and back and took us just over an hour with stopping for photos along the way. We were happy with the way that the camera carrier performed after a few adjustments.
We headed back to the house to have time to shower and do laundry and a few other things before we meet Cindy and Eric for dinner.
