2023 Cayman Islands – Thursday February 16th

Writer: sridgway38sridgway38

Our last full day on Grand Cayman and we didn’t have any plans.

Cody and Kasey decided that they wanted to go to a geological site called Hell, and Conrad and Steph just wanted to lay on the beach and rest.  We decided to check out a place near Seven Mile beach and Georgetown called Camana Bay. It turned out to be quite nice, sort of what we had expected Georgetown to be, with shops and waterfront restaurants. We parked in a free parking garage and went towards the waterfront. There were fountains and a small island with Hammocks and places to play and sit and walk your dog.

We had read about a highly rated restaurant called Agua that was on the waterfront and we found it right away. We had lunch by the water and the food was delicious. the staff were all Italian as was the chef. The glasses came out with coasters that fit around the base top and bottom so that they didn’t blow awa in the wind.

After lunch we went up the observation tower to take pictures towards Run Point and towards georgetown/Seven Mile Beach

After we took pictures from the observation tower we had a bit of gelato and also bought some little T-shirts for our grandson who is on the way.

We headed back to the house and did some packing and cleaning. We had one final cook-out by the pool to close out our week.
