The morning started with some excitement. We have had a bus driver with us from the start of the trip in Italy. His name is Rosario, and let’s just say that about 1 day into the journey Conrad and Cody had dubbed Rosario ” the man”. Not only does he have swagger, but he is a fantastic driver, and somehow he knows every person on the bus, and has the bus waiting whenever we need it. Anyway, there are a lot of strict rules about how many hours they can drive and when they need to take breaks and other things. This morning on the way to the palace of Versailles, there was a police block at the entrance and all of the drivers of busses had to pull over and have all of their paperwork checked. Apparently Rosario had all of his paperwork, but one of the papers was “not well written” according to the french police. They loaded Rosario into a police van and we sat on the bus plotting how to break him out. Cody had decided on making some “free Rosario” t-shirts but they eventually let him go and we continued on.
We saw the palace of Versailles which was a history lesson on the french revolution, and very beautiful. Here are a few pictures

After the palace, we met up with the rest of our group and went to the second level of the Eiffel Tower, and then saw some monuments, the Louvre, and Notre Dame as well. Most of these we saw from the bus so the photos are not fantastic, but here are a few.
The evening was very laid back at the hotel as we prepare to leave for our final city tomorrow. London here we come…
