8/4/2019 – Sandpoint

Sunday morning we got up early and checked out of the AirBnB after one last visit to Evans’ Brother’s coffee.

We headed out to Eric and Cindy’s place to actually do the thing that made us come to Idaho in the first place – DRIVE THE TRACTOR. The boys tried to tell us that it was to visit Eric and Cindy or swim in the swim but we know better.

We walked down to Kaylee’s place on the property first to talk about moving some hay but since that wasn’t quite ready. Here’s Kaylee’s horse Cisco

We decided to go drive the tractor – Eric was very patient teaching Conrad and Chris and Shawn how to drive and operate the machine. He gave us each a few trial runs of driving and operating the machine and then he jumped out and let us do it ourselves. We were having so much fun that we lost track of time and had to be called home for lunch.

Chris in the tractor –

I also drove the tractor but we didn’t get pictures, only videos so picture to be added later. Chris did the best of all of us, actually reaching water where Eric was trying to dig a little pond.

After we had an awesome healthy lunch that Linda and Cindy prepared, we headed for the Spokane airport to start the rest of our vacation but not until we said goodbye to Bob our trusty Grand Caravan who trucked the 6 of us all over Sandpoint including luggage, wheelchair, and other essentials. It turned out to be a great car and since the license plate started with BOB – we named it Bob.

We headed to Spokane to stay next to the airport on Saturday night because our flight was early. We stayed at the Ramada at the airport and it was very nice. We had a great dinner, the staff was really nice and they had a water slide at the pool. We like definitely stay here again.
