Today is a day at sea.
We slept late, walked the promenade and caught up on pictures before we went to Formal night. It was a welcome day off. I always love the cruises, and visiting locations is my favorite part of the cruise but I do love a sea day. Editing my photos takes a long time and then writing the blog is in addition to that. While fighting with the internet on the ship adds a bit of hassle, to be honest that's mostly idle time. We loved being in a Neptune Suite this time, it's much larger, has a sort of dressing area outside of the bathroom with a vanity, which makes getting ready for dinner easier for the two of us. It also offers quite a bit of additional cabinet and drawer space. The Balcony is large with a table for 4 as well as 2 lounge chairs and a small cocktail table. It allows you to work on your laptop on the verandah, have a snack etc... We also loved having the Neptune Lounge right near our room. Not quite as close as it was in Alaska but a few doors down. We can always grab small snacks there, coffee, sodas, wine in the afternoon, and the dedicated concierges make it unnecessary to go to guest services during busy times.
A sea day after the heat of the cities we visited so far was a welcome time to relax, take it a bit easier, and just enjoy the ship.
