We arrived in Corfu Greece in the morning. The island was unlike any of the greek islands that we had seen before. It didn’t have the whitewashed houses and blue roofs. It had a more European feel to the houses and the architecture.
We left the boat and headed out on a bus to a harbor nearby where we boarded a catamaran for the day with about 20 other people.
We cruised around the island to several spots where we stopped to swim including one area where the planes landing at the Corfu airport flew right over our heads.
The crew on the boat then made us a traditional greek lunch which we ate on board. It consisted of Mousaka, stuffed grape leaves, Tzatziki and some seasoned meat. It was very good.
