Today we did a bird watching walk with a guide in the morning and saw a number of interesting birds close to the hotel including Toucans. They tour was supposed to be about 4 hours but we decided to return to the hotel when he went into the jungle near the hotel because it was really hard to see anything.
As we headed out to the birding walk we looked up to an upper floor at the hotel and there were monkeys raiding a room. The hotel and our guides had warned us that the Monkeys who are all over near the hotel have learned to open the hotel room doors if you don't lock them and they get intot he mini bar and eat and dring the contents. We saw a bunch of them going in an out of the rooms and throwing cans off the balcony to open them so they could drink the contents. This sign is on every hotel room balcony door but these people must have forgotten.

We headed out to the lower falls trails and then on to the

We headed to a spot near the hotel to get into the trucks to take us to the River adventure. The open trucks drove us through some of the jungle and to a spot on the river below the falls where we boarded and headed to some of the falls. We went close enough into the downpour to get soaked and then went ebhind the falls.

We headed back to the hotel and had dinner with the rest of the group before taking a few pictures from the hotel toom to close out our visit.

Tomorrow morning we will board a plane to fly back to Buenos Aires, pick up our parge luggage that we left behind at the Alvear Icon and then head to a final lunch and to the international airport for our trip back home. The trip was fantastic from start to finish. It was truly the trip of a lifetime and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
