Since today is the first full day on the ship let’s start with some pictures of our Neptune Suite on the ship. It’s a larger suite than we’ve ever rented before and it comes with it’s own lounge that’s staffed every day with 2 Concierges who can help with questions, bookings etc.. it also has food and drinks available all day. We definitely enjoyed having more room.

We walked around the ship to orient ourselves to the common areas and we checked out the Neptune Lounge. We had breakfast and lunch in the Lido Buffet and then got ready for our excursion to the Hubbard Glacier. The short boat trip out was from a boat that just pulled up alongside our cruise ship and took on about 200 people for the excursion. The short ride had pretty views and the Glacier was quite active calving a lot of ice chunks into the water as we were there.

On the way back to the ship we circled around a little island to see these sea Lions

we got back to the ship about an hour and a half later than we were supposed to which made is very late for our dining room seating but Sapori and Kin our waiters were very nice and had no problems seating us at our usual table.
