We spent the last 2 days at sea crossing the Drake Passage which overall was not bad. We had a few hours one night that was very bumpy and the ship rolled quite a bit but we were able to sleep, and eat in the restaurant with no major issues. We arrived in Ushuaia last night after dinner and had some time today to walk around before we had to head to the airport to catch our plane back to Buenos Aires. Ushuaia is the southen most city in the world - according to their marketing. They have grown to a population of 80,000 people. They have a very busy port both with shipping as well as tourism. This is the gateway for tourists to much of Patagonia, Falklands and South Georgia in addition to Antarctica.
The town and port are surrounded by water on one side and beautiful mountains on the other. We started the day at the "Prison Museum" which was made from an old prison. It was an interesting mix of art, the history of the indigenous people who lived here, and the prison.

After the Museum they put us in an area of the hotel in town where we could rest and snack while we waited for our flight but we were free to walk around the town and along the waterfront. We did a bit of shopping and then walked the waterfront until it was time to head to the airport.

We headed back to the hotel and took the short ride to the 2 gate Ushuaia airport for our flight back to Buenos Aires which was uneventful. We are spending the night at the same hotel we stayed at here at the start of our trip the Avear Icon, before heading to Iguazu Falls tomorrow.
