Conrad and I got up around 6 and headed over to Evan’s Brothers coffee which we had visited the last time we were here. It’s a really fun little coffee shop a few blocks from the house. They have fantastic coffee, decent breakfast sandwiches and a fun laid back atmosphere.

Once we finished breakfast we took some to go items for the kids back to the house and then went for a stroll downtown.

We also took a walk around the beach and visited the statue of liberty that we saw on our last trip.

We walked back to the house and got the car to go to Safeway to get a few provisions, and then headed back to the house to get ready before meeting up with Eric and Cindy.
Eric and Cindy came in to town and we took two cars to the “Rusty Trunk” an antique store/flea market outside of town where they have a small stand that sells rocks and gems and interesting glass. It’s a pretty cool place where the little stands are owned by different people and there is one central check out stand for people to pay.

After the rock shop we headed over to see their other business – The Human Connection. It’s a counseling business at the edge of town.

After the stop there we headed out to Cindy and Eric’s house outside of town. Eric is Conrad’s brother and Cindy is his wife. It’s a cool homestead where generations of Cindy’s family have lived. Her daughter Kaylee and Kaylee’s fiancé Brian built their own house since we were here last. We got to see that first. It was incredible that they had built such a gorgeous place situated on the top of a rise with a gorgeous view.

Kasey was also able to feed Kaylee’s horse Cisco.

After that we went to Cindy and Eric’s house nearby on the same property. Their house is filled with lots of beautiful rocks and glass and artifacts as well as different kinds of art that Cindy has created. It’s so beautiful and unique.
Eric took Cody and Kasey out to operate his backhoe which they loved.

We then went in and had a really nice dinner that Cindy had made, and some cupcakes from a bakery in town. Then it was back outside for more backhoe shenanigans.
We had a really fun, full day with family.
