Today we have a sea day as we sail towards Singapore. Clocks changed overnight and we got up a little bit early so that Shawn could attend a Pilates class.
We got a malfunctioning safe in our room replaced and then both went back up to the gym to exercise – Shawn on the treadmill and Conrad on the bike. Afterwards we had showers and headed to La Veranda for lunch. We are planning a lazy afternoon before going to one of the speciatly restaurants – Prime 7 for dinner. Pretty typical sea day with lots of relaxing and eating, and no pictures.
While sitting on the veranda, we were very surprised to see many Flying Fish! At first we thought they were birds due to how far they can fly. Yesterday Needle fish and today Flying Fish. Both were two fast to get on film but we were able to track both with binoculars.
We had dinner in the Prime 7 specialty restaurant and the food was excellent! Surf and Tirf for Shawn and Prime Rib for Conrad. For dessert they offer a caramel popcorn sundae in a martini glass that was delicious.
After dinner we went to a piano lounge for a glass of wine and then moved to a lounge where a diet was singing and people were dancing. Both closed when the nightly show started so we wandered in for a bit to see what that was about but it wasn’t really for us so we left after about 15 minutes.
We had sent a photo of Pop Pop snorkeling yesterday to Baylor. He sent us back the following photo.
He does adore his Pop Pop
